Tell us directly first. A complaint is reviewed by a lawyer who did not work on the matter, answered in writing, and we say what we will do about it.

In writing, to the address on the contact page. Say what happened and what outcome you are looking for.
Acknowledgement
We confirm receipt and name the person who will review it.
Review
Carried out by a lawyer who did not work on your matter.
Outcome
A written answer setting out what we found and what we will do.
Escalation
If you remain dissatisfied, the regulator of the bar to which the lawyer is admitted can be approached.
What we will not do
We will not treat a complaint as a reason to stop work on a live matter, and we will not ask you to withdraw one as a condition of continuing. If the relationship cannot continue, we say so and hand the file over properly.
