How We Write and Review What Is Published Here
Everything on this site is written or reviewed by a practising lawyer, dated, and corrected when it is wrong. We do not publish statistics, case citations or outcome figures we cannot source, and we do not describe procedures we do not run.
Who writes and reviews
Each substantive page carries a visible byline naming the advocate responsible for it and the date it was last reviewed. The byline links to that person’s profile, which states their admission and certificate number. Pages without a named reviewer are not published.
Sourcing
- Procedural statements are taken from the Organization’s own published instruments and from the Commission’s published decisions.
- Treaty positions are taken from the treaty texts in force, and the date of checking is recorded.
- We do not publish case citations, decision numbers or success rates that we cannot point to in a public source.
- Where a question has no settled answer, the page says so rather than choosing one.
What we do not publish
- Client names, or any detail from which a client could be identified.
- Predictions of outcome, including in the questionnaires on this site.
- Fee figures presented as applicable to cases we have not seen.
- Claims of affiliation with INTERPOL. We are lawyers acting in cases involving the Organization; we do not act for it.
Corrections and updating
If something here is wrong, write to us and we will correct it and change the review date. Substantive corrections are noted on the page rather than made silently. The review date is the date a lawyer last read the page against the sources, not the date a word was changed.
